Terms of Use

These terms cover the ChefYield app and website, operated by L Rothschild Express Tr Ent. The app is offered on the Apple App Store. An Android version on Google Play is coming later; the Google Play parts of these terms apply once it is available. By creating an account or buying a subscription, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What the app is
ChefYield costs plates for restaurants. You enter or scan recipes, prices, and invoices. The app shows plate cost, food-cost percent, and how the menu ranks. It is a costing tool. It is not food-safety advice, an inspection, or a certification.
Accounts
You must give a real email and keep your password private. You can delete the account inside the app. Deleting the account deletes your recipes, pantry, and invoices, except records we must keep for fraud or tax. Deleting the app, or deleting the account, does not cancel a subscription.
Your recipes and invoices
You own the recipes, prices, photos, and invoices you upload. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the app, including scanning a menu or an invoice into your account. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to use.
Plans
Free includes 3 recipes, pantry costing, menu ranking, and PDF sheets.
Pro is $29.99 per month, or $299 per year. Pro includes up to 10 costed recipes, the AI recipe parser, AI cost-saving suggestions, and everything in Free. A paid plan includes a 7-day free trial when the store offer on that device says so.
Elite is $99 per month, or $899 per year. Elite includes unlimited recipes, menu scan, invoice scan, and everything in Pro.
An extra teammate seat is a separate subscription. The price and length are the ones shown on the Plans screen at the time of purchase. The invited person buys their own seat.
The title, length, and price of the plan you select are shown on the Plans screen before you confirm the purchase. The price charged is the price shown by the Apple App Store or Google Play for your country.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are sold by the store on the device you use. ChefYield does not take the card payment.
On an iPhone or iPad, payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID account settings. If a free trial is offered, any unused part of that trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription, where Apple’s rules say so. Refunds are handled by Apple.
On an Android device, once ChefYield is available on Google Play, payment is charged to your Google account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel the subscription in Google Play, under Payments and subscriptions. If a free trial is offered, canceling before the trial ends avoids the charge, and any unused part of the trial ends when you buy a paid plan, where Google’s rules say so. Refunds are handled by Google Play.
Privacy
The privacy policy is on this website and is linked from the app. It explains what we collect and how to delete an account.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, attempt to break into another restaurant’s account, or use the scan tools to take content you have no right to use.
Disclaimers
Costs are calculated from the prices, yields, and portions you enter. You are responsible for checking them before you change a menu price. The app is provided as is. We do not promise uninterrupted service or that a scan will be perfect.
